What better way to begin your first site seeing of Barcelona, with a run. This is precisely what we did. Make sure to bring your running shoes. We started our morning jog from Ofelias Hotel and found ourselves going through various neighborhoods. The one thing that is so great about Barcelona is that you can walk or run to just about any area.
This trip could not be a trip, without a visit to Catalonia. This area is known for its vast vineyards and winemaking. There were so many wineries to choose from, and we were only able to pick one. So we decided on Pares Balta. I couldn't be more pleased! Our tour began with a walk through their vineyard and even a cave. Our tour guide introduced us to organic biodynamic.
When it came to nightlife, depending on what you like, there are tons of options. From cafes, clubs, lounge bars, ice cream shops, and various hotels bars. We found ourselves at the W Hotel, Maka Maka (they make the best sangria) and El Born neighborhood.
