One Night Only Bangkok Banyan Tree

Vertigo roof top bar at Banyan Tree, a must see before leaving Bangkok

Touring Thailand for the past few weeks was quite the experience. I decided to spend my last night in Bangkok. During my trip, everyone that I met kept on telling me that I have to visit Banyan Tree before leaving Thailand. I kept on thinking, what is the big deal?

When I finally arrived in Bangkok, it was nothing but high rise concrete buildings just like the concrete jungles of New York. I discovered that Bangkok offered a vast amount of nightlife and activities of any major city. It was the first time, where I was able to wear makeup and lash extensions without worrying if it would melt off (this happened in Phuket). There is a video on my Instagram page of it if you want a good laugh. Upon leaving my hotel and waiting for the cab, I couldn't help but notice how flashy and grand things were. I bumped into a lady that was attending a wedding, and she had the most beautiful gown. If you have some time on your hands, getting custom tailored clothing is a must (I just ran out of time)!

The cab finally arrived, and we embarked on a five-minute ride to Banyan Tree. Upon entering the hotel, we were warmly greeted and escorted to their upstairs outdoor restaurant & bar called Vertigo. The view was fantastic, literally the best rooftop bar ever! Since we had an early morning flight, we were only able to stay for a few hours. The cocktails were excellent, friendly people and very attentive staff. Looking back, I'm glad that I was able to make the brief visit. Whether you're a solo traveler, or on a honeymoon or with a group of friends, this place is worth a visit.
